From The East (Asheville, North Carolina):

  1. Follow I-40 West to Exit 27.
  2. Follow Hwy. 74 for 32 miles to Exit 74.  (Do NOT take Hwy 19, exit 103, towards Maggie Valley and Cherokee).
  3. Take Exit 74 which is Hwy 441 North to Cherokee.
  4. Turn right at Sunset Farm Road, first state road past Quality Plus gas station.
  5. Turn left onto Camp Creek Road   (approx. ½  mile).
  6. Campground entrance road will be approx. 1.75 miles down Camp Creek Road.
  7. Look for yellow sign with red lettering on the left.
  8. Turn left onto Adventure Trail and follow road to office  (approx.. ½ mile).

 

From the West (Tennessee, Kentucky, & Indiana):

  1. From Kentucky & Indiana take I-65 to I-40 in Tennessee.
  2. Follow I-40 East to Exit 27 in North Carolina.
  3. Follow Hwy. 74 for 32 miles to Exit 74.  (Do NOT take Hwy 19, exit 103, towards Maggie Valley and Cherokee).

From the South (Atlanta, GA):

  1. I-85 North to I-985 (towards Gainesville, GA).
  2. I-985 to Hwy. 365 which changes to Hwy. 441 North.
  3. Stay on Hwy. 441 North to Franklin, NC.
  4. When approaching Franklin, take the 441 bypass (right turn at light just after Shoney’s on right).
  5. Hwy. 441 North will join I-74 West just past Dillsboro,  NC.
  6. Follow Hwy. 74 West/441 North to Exit 74.
  7. Take Exit 74 which is Hwy 441 North to Cherokee.
  8. Turn right at Sunset Farm Road, first state road past Quality Plus gas station.
  9. Turn left onto Camp Creek Road   (approx. ½ mile).
